Sudan Crisis: Where is the evacuation plan?

The situation in Sudan is rapidly deteriorating. Hundreds have been killed and thousands injured. Over 1,600 Canadians registered with Global Affairs Canada, but sadly, many more have not.

The fighting is intense and food and water supplies are dwindling. In response, Canada has evacuated its Embassy, suspended consular services, and has advised people to shelter in place. Canada is trying to work out an evacuation plan with "like minded countries".

But with no embassy, food, or water, sheltering in place is not a viable solution.
